Where Brunch Meets Riverside Bliss
This hidden gem nestled along the riverside, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Solstice and left with a satisfied palate. Although I could feel that they tried to create a cozy ambiance, I did find it a bit cold. The large windows offered panoramic views of the riverside, so if the weather had been nicer, it would have probably been a different experience.
As for the dishes, they perfectly exemplified the marriage of brunch classics with a modern twist. The portion of each dish was generous, and the ingredients were fresh and of top-notch quality! The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, with vibrant colors that made them almost too pretty to eat…
What I Ordered:
Smoked Salmon, Baby Spinach, Tomatoes with Cream Cheese on a Sourdough
I decided to indulge in Smoked Salmon toast, and I must say it was a delectable choice! The smoky richness of the salmon paired flawlessly with the freshness of the baby spinach and the tanginess of the tomatoes. And that cream cheese…It was velvety smooth and added a luscious creaminess to every bite.
Avocado with beets on a Sourdough, additional poached eggs
Yes, heaven combination of the brunch menues. The avocado was was perfectly ripe and creamy, spread generously over the rustic Sourdough bread. The vibrant beets added a burst of earthy sweetness, creating a beautiful contrast. Then as you cut into the ggs, the golden yolk oozes out. It’s a symphony of textures and flavors.
Scrambled egg with Ham on a Sourdough
This was an ultimate breakfast classic. Scrambled eggs perfectly were cooked and mingling with savory ham, all nestled on a toasted slice of Sourdough bread.
*Drinks – Hugo, Aperol Spritz, and Wines
While I enjoyed their food menu, what I loved most was their selection of drinks. They had good wine selections, and their lineup of cocktails was perfect for enjoying the summer weather. I particularly enjoyed their Hugo, which is one of my favorite drinks!
Conclusion:
Solstice St. Paul’s Riverside is a brunch place that I would highly recommend. They have the kind of dishes that make you want to leap out of bed on a lazy Sunday morning and head straight to this place to experience it again and again! But just to let you know in advance, their sourdough is really tough, so you may need to ask for a sharp knife to cut it.
