An Exclusive Guide Curated by Hanako
London’s culinary scene is a buzz with excitement as September brings forth a sensational array of new restaurant openings and exclusive collaborations.
From exotic flavors to traditional British delights, these establishments promise an unforgettable dining experience.
Noma Projects at Kol
The legendary Noma Projects is making a pit stop in London for an epic one-day-only food extravaganza. Teaming up with a Marylebone hotspot Kol on September 10th, 2023, this exclusive event is set to blow your mind with a culinary adventure that breaks all the rules and sets new standards for gastronomic creativity.
Bossa
Immerse yourself in the rhythmic delights of Brazilian cuisine at Bossa Mayfair, where vibrant flavors and a lively ambiance converge.
The head chef, Alberto Landgraf, hails from the acclaimed restaurant Oteque in Rio de Janeiro, boasting an impressive two Michelin stars and securing a spot on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants List. Their crispy pork belly is an absolute must-try on my list.
Dinner has already begun, and mark your calendar, as lunch service starts from September 5th, 2023
Llama Inn
Transport yourself to the vibrant world of Peruvian cuisine at Llama Inn Hoxton. This restaurant brings the spirit of the Andes to London as their third location after new York and Madrid.
They are offering a fusion of traditional flavors and modern culinary techniques, all set within an ambiance that echoes the warmth of South America.

Their menue include firm favourite Cauliflower fritti with aioli, alongside mozzarella with figs & hazelnuts, pancetta potato cakes & pickled cabbage.

EVE
EVE, the exciting new opening in Kensington, isn’t just a restaurant – it’s a versatile haven that combines a restaurant, bar, and café, all drawing inspiration from the enchanting cultures of the Eastern and Southern Mediterranean regions.
Spearheaded by executive chef Talia Prince, who brings her culinary expertise from her time at https://www.le-gavroche.co.uk, EVE’s menu promises an exquisite fusion of flavors. Her culinary prowess is further highlighted by her successful three-month residency at Soho House White City.

Bébé Bob
Bob Bob Ricard, renowned for its champagne buttons, is embracing a new baby to celebrate its 15th year.
Bébé Bob, a delightful establishment in the heart of Soho, focuses on rotisserie chicken and over £75 priced fine wines and Champagnes. Despite its name, Bébé Bob’s offerings are not really cute when it comes to flavor and value.
Serving both lunch and dinner, this 56-cover restaurant also features a 12-seater circular bar within its charming confines.
Open in September 2023

Wine enthusiasts, rejoice! Both the wine bar and bistro, Little Cellars, and their dedicated wine shop, Cellar Next Door, are finally open in Camberwell.

42 Holborn
Experience a captivating journey of flavors and cultures at 42 Holborn, where the menu stands as a tribute to the remarkable culinary diversity of the Mediterranean.
Boasting 42 thoughtfully curated dishes (cleverly nodding to the theme), including delectable offerings like Tuscan chicken and Grilled lamb chops with truffled potatoes, they cater to every palate. I am Looking forward to see their stylish dining room.

The Watermans Arms
A once-popular Thames riverside pub in Barnes reset to be opened under new management. Joe Grossman, the creator of the burger restaurant Patty and Bun, has plans to relaunch it as a gastro-pub following an extensive makeover.
The restaurant space will feature a full À La Carte menu showcasing seasonal dishes, including a rotating specials board highlighting whole market fish cooked over coals, as well as sharing chops and steaks sourced from the in-house, whole-animal butchery.
Open on 28th September 2023
Chishuru
One of my favorite West African restaurants, Chishuru, sloded their Brixton restaurant since October of last year. However, it’s all set to reopen next month in a new location in Fitzrovia, boasting a seating capacity for 54 diners. The restaurant will once again offer its renowned set menus for both lunch (£35) and dinner (£65).
Even food critics like Jay Rayner and Jimi Famurewa have reviewed the restaurant, and personally, I adore Head Chef Adejoke Bakare’s dishes. I can hardly wait to savor the spiced sauces and squash puree all over again.
Open on 18th September 2023
